Terps Compete in Final Regular-Season Meet

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The University of Maryland gymnastics team will conclude its regular season Friday on the road in University Park, Pa. The Terps will face host Penn State, Nebraska and Rutgers. The meet is set for 7:00 p.m. at Rec Hall.

The Big Ten Network will televise the competition on Thursday, March 27 at 8:00 p.m.

Last Time Out
• Maryland scored a season-best of 194.250 at home on March 15 in the Comcast Pavilion. The Terrapins finished second in the quad meet, behind Michigan.
• On uneven bars, the Terrapins swung six strong routines to earn a season-best event total of 48.925. Sophomore Allison Dama matched her career-high 9.875 score, finishing third on the event.
• Sophomore Brandi George matched her career-best 9.875 score to win the balance beam competition.
• Sophomore Michele Brenner tumbled to a career-best of 9.90 on floor exercise to tie for first place.

Looking Ahead
• The Terrapins travel to Morgantown, W. Va., to compete for the East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) Championship title on March 29. West Virginia University will host the 2008 EAGL Championships in the WVU Coliseum at 4:00 p.m.
